After a very interesting (and heated) conversation our community group had about a month ago about whether prayer actually makes a difference, or whether it's simply a way to communicate with God, it made me wonder what other Christians think about predestination vs. free will. I'm not asking you to copy and paste the 5 points of presdestination or explain the definition of arminianism, but rather in your relationship with God and in your heart's interpretation of the Bible as a whole, where do you stand on the point of what is controlled by God in this world, and what has He left to our personal choice (if anything). I know this isn't a salvation issue but since you guys are Christians already I'm intersted to see what you believe on this aspect of religious belief which (in my opinion) affects much of our lives and daily attitudes toward personal and world circumstances.
